Horizon 2020 - Work Programme 2018-2020: 8. Health, demographic change and wellbeing

This call aims at supporting the management of health and wellbeing while empowering the participation of citizens and facilitating the transformation of health and care services to more digitised, person-centred and community-based care models, thereby enabling better access to healthcare and the sustainability of health and care systems. It is relevant to the Commission priorities 'A new boost for jobs, growth and investment' and 'A connected Digital Single Market'[[Updated by the DSM mid-term review: http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-17-1232_en.htm]], as well as to the European Cloud Initiative and the European Free Flow of Data Initiative. It will contribute to maximising the potential of the digital economy in the health and care sectors aiming at sustainable development to the benefit of society, environment and citizens. This call will address eHealth, mobile health (mHealth) and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Active and Healthy Ageing.

At the information session on 27 November entitled ‚Innovation procurement in health and active ageing‘ (9:40-11:10h), representatives of the European Commission will explain what the conditions are for participation in the new health and active ageing call for procurement proposals (SC1-DTH-05-2019). Participants will have the opportunity to present their proposal ideas and network with public procurers across Europe on these ideas. Experts of current and recent procurement projects on ICT for health and ageing will share their experiences.
