Sarcopenia is a growing area of clinical and research activity, and the need for more widespread diagnosis and the development of treatment options is pressing. Translational research is key to these aims. Great strides are being made in our scientific understanding of sarcopenia and muscle disease, and the challenge now is to translate these advances into better care and better treatments for older people. This virtual, multi-disciplinary conference will be an opportunity to hear from researchers in this rapidly evolving field and discuss how to shape the future translational research agenda and invites abstracts from a broad range of subject areas.
